Tease Your Guests!
While working with a great couple on their upcoming wedding stationery, they wanted to entice their guests with a unique save the date. The package featured a scroll with calligraphy that read “Eat this date, but please save ours”, and a date treat inside of a paper box with a custom insert to keep the two pieces separate. The guests’ first impression was a small box wrapped with a decorative paper and label that helps set the... Read More
Invitations in Progress
I really can’t wait to see the client’s reaction to these invitations. I’ve given them the main idea (being the accordion format) but they haven’t yet seen the design. I really hope they like them, and if not, you’ll be seeing them in my upcoming collection anway – I love them! I’ve even created approval stickers now, so I have a signature from the client and the exact invitation selected so there aren’t... Read More
Wild Ink Press

Root
Root is a design agency based in London who specialize in art direction, design, advertising and film for a nice variety of clients. Play-Doh Stop Motion

Paperjam Design
PaperJam Design has been a favorite bookmarked agency of mine. Creative doesn’t even begin to explain some of the projects that they have managed to produce. Their work for the Belfast Chidren’s Festival has been ongoing and never fails to impress me. Show above. Their portfolio was recently updated and I highly recommend you check out their work! Icon, Logo or Mark
I’m working on a [fill in the blank] for someone and I don’t know what to call it. Is it a logo? Is it a mark or is it an icon? I’m not sure but I’m still working on the end result – client satisfaction. I sketched out with pencil at first and then in pen/marker a few rounds of different symbols … oh wait, is it symbol? Could be. And have picked out 9 of the best to present to the client. How do you present your ideas... Read More
New Work – StarPlayr
One of my routine things in my day is listening to Sirius. It was a gift at my first year with Hanlon Creative and I continue to renew my supscription each and every year. It’s on from the moment I get into my car until the time that I get out. Once I get into the studio, I start up my Mac and open my StarPlayr app. I’ve tried listening to it online, have even tried other apps, but none comes close to that of NiceMac’s application...
