Wow, the internet has allowed me to meet/find such amazing talent. Illustrator and husband of Alex McCarty (of Hello Bluebird) contacted me on Twitter and I was never even aware of him until now. He has impressive talent with sketching and illustration and you can see on is Skog (Sketching+Blog).

I’m starting to fall in love with the Vienna Lomo Notebook by Lomography. Could it give my Moleskine a run for it’s money? Not sure yet but it looks pretty damn cool. It costs $16.50 (USD) and you can purchase a bundle that includes the Vienna Notebook and the Vienna City Guide for just $33.

There’s a great article over on VectorTuts on The Process of Designing a Killer Logo which breaks it down into two categories Type Treatments and Type Mixed with Image Treatments.

Where to begin? As always, start with pencil and a piece of paper. It should always start there and then you can jump on the computer and take it into the digital realm.
