There’s a great article over on VectorTuts on The Process of Designing a Killer Logo which breaks it down into two categories Type Treatments and Type Mixed with Image Treatments.

Where to begin? As always, start with pencil and a piece of paper. It should always start there and then you can jump on the computer and take it into the digital realm.

clean code

Keep your code clean with this handy chart. I’m fairly new to designing my own websites and am not really sure how clean my code is in comparison to others but I must say that I do pay attention to it’s cleanliness and do my best. Although I do use alot of the <br /> tags…oops. I’m guilty on that one.

Wogies

Jason Santa Maria (a grad from KU) has a great post on finding the closest thing to a Philly cheesteak in New York City. When you come from Philadelphia it tends to creep up on you how much you miss the good food (cheesesteaks, Tastykakes, etc.) that are regional items. Jason formed a Cheesteak Crawl event in Manhattan and through scoring cards determined the winner of this prestigious honor. Oh, and he displays the results in a fantastical way on his website too. Where was my invitation to this event?
