Oh, Romeo!

Pentagram has done it again. And in fact, I might say this every time I see their work but it’s true! A team lead by the london branch’s John Rushworth has created this remarkable new identity for a luxury hotel called ROMEO. Fitting for a Neapolitan-family owned business featuring it’s landmark hotel on the Bay of Naples. The logo is to-die-for with the letters crashing into each other to create an intimacy between their forms.  Read More

That’s right. The design offices of Pentagram have been taken over with Monday Night Foosball. Pentagram hosted the 5th Annual Graphic Design Foosball Championship. And Paul Sahre gave suspected non-designers a design quiz in which they passed. How fun! The red cardigans are classic! Is it a cardigan or a sweater, and what the f- is the difference? I had to use this image above strictly for that guy making the funny face. It cracked me up!  Read More

Marian Bantjes | Want It campaign

Marian Bantjes was brought in to do the “Want It” campaign for Saks Fifth Avenue and what a beautiful campaign it is. I’m so glad that her work is getting such great exposure. She was brought in by Michael Bierut of Pentagram and then worked directly with Terron Schaefer at Saks to create this eye-candy campaign. I can only imagine how she exceeded their expectations when working on this. I am a huge fan of calligraphy, hand-lettering,... Read More
