I love hunting in antiques stores and this weekend my keen senses helped me to find a wonderful publication on International Advertising Art in German and English. It features grand examples of design in advertising and I could not resist becoming the owner of it. Maggie Taylor

Thanks to my Stumble! toolbar I stumbled upon Maggie Taylor. At first, I wasn’t sure but the more I looked, the more I liked. Maggie has a BA in philosophy from Yale and an MFA from the University of Florida in photography and almost ten years later she made the switch to the computer to create her images. Playboy covers Art imitates Playboy magazine? I saw this image yesterday on Thinks to Look At blog featuring Vintage Playboy covers and immediately the top center image recalled an image of the poster below by Henderson Bromstead Art which was selected for Merit in the Posters category of the 2006 Self Promotion Design Annual for HOW magazine.
