Ryan Feerer
I’m starting to think that Courtney and I are long lost souls (of design). Her posts at Design Work Life and Head vs. Heart hit me hard every time. Today, she posted about Ryan Feerer’s work for weddings and I was just blown away. Beautiful, hand drawn, great layouts. Read More
Little Aviary
Almost one year ago, I posted about the design work of Rachel Dangerfield. Now, Rachel is slowly launching a stationery line under the name of Little Aviary. Can you believe how adorable these invites are? I’m looking at you Rachel, I want to see more! Read More
Koi Invitations
When this client emailed me, my response was “You had me at koi.” Kelly and Joseph liked the tattoo invitations that I can create, but they wanted a set that revolved around koi fish. Wouldn’t you say yes too?! I was so pleased with the results and this time, and I was able to use a gray as the stock color rather than white. Read More

Mike Mates of Urban Influence has posted his wedding invitations on his Urban Influence blog and they are quite impressive. Using a typical theme, he and his team created a stationery set that sets the tone for his woodsy wedding. Read More
A Meaty Surprise
Kathleen of Twig & Thistle created a fun invitation with a meat theme for her husband’s surprise 30th birthday party. Using a faux bois stock and some crafty kraft paper, she made a set that would certainly leave a unique impression with it’s recipients. The link above is Part I, which means there’s more to come! Aren’t they great?! Read More

Benign Objects
I’m really adoring the work of Rachel Wiles of Benign Objects. A graphic designer and a writer/editor for The Dieline, Rachel creates handmade wedding invitations and I’m envious at how she incorporates unusual materials into her pieces. Handkerchiefs? Gorgeous! I might be looking into some unique ones myself, so watch out! Read More
Sailing Invites
I’ve been busy this past week. Three invitation sets were scheduled to be produced and three sets were indeed, produced. If you follow me on Facebook you already know that I nearly took out my thumb in the process with a cutter. Thankfully, it just cut a small piece and is healing well. Even though it was difficult to tie over a hundred knots with an out of order thumb, I was very pleased with the results! For Jessica and Jared, I created... Read More
Antoinette Invitations
I forgot to post these with being so engulfed with so many things lately. But these lovely invitations were created for a great couple in New York who wanted something traditional but a bit fun. These photos were of the mockup and a few things changed from then until the finished piece so I hope to get better photos soon. The invitations were held by a cream gatefold and bound with a rich chocolate ribbon that tied on the back into a bow that held... Read More
