A beautiful identity system for menswear label, Gibson created by Coop. Beautiful color choices and graphics make this system engaging to say the least.

Farmers

Widgets & Stone created a cohesive look for a small Farmers market in Tennessee. The Farmers were being confused with many other local markets so they omitted the word market and went with who they really are, Farmers. Widgets & Stone put together a nice review on their process and if you’re hungry for more images, visit their Flickr page. I especially love this line at the end of their review: “No local farmers, no local food. Know local farmers, know local food.”

Really impressed by the identity for Sam Tootal formed by Manual Creative. A solid monogram makes way for a great identity to be executed.

Meat & Bread

I am a huge proponent of simple identities and the Meat & Bread identity by Glasfurd & Walker is just that. The strongly typographic identity allows the client to manage their look without a style guide (even though one could be provided), and uses simple components. Labels, Business cards, a rubber stamp – it can’t get much easier. But don’t think this seemingly simple solution comes without hard work. The simpler solution can be more difficult to come by in addition to selling this idea to the client. I think this solution knocks it out of the park!

The Nolitan

Some really nice work from Marque who developed a bright identity for The Nolitan, a luxury boutique hotel in Manhattan located “North of Little Italy” hence, the name Nolitan. I dig everything about it, especially that dark blue card with the red ink.
