I love that Design Army has recorded their behind-the-scenes moments for their work on Washingtonian Bride & Groom. Thankfully, I found a copy at Barnes & Noble and loved every single layout that they created. Amazing work.

Design Army creates beautiful design pieces, and the recent issue of Washingtonian Bride & Groom is no exception. I’ve been following the Design Army on twitter (@design_army) and they give little sneak peaks such as these, and I will be going to Barnes & Noble to pick up the issue so that I can ogle at the photos in person. Working at Design Army must be oodles of fun when it comes to their most creative pieces. Just take a look at the Behind-the-Scenes photos above. The swan on the back of the truck at Wal-Mart, I can only imagine!

Design Army and the Washingtonian collaborated with the area’s top photographers, stylists, and make-up artists to create the featured stories: “My Fair Lady,” “Best in Class,” “Color Box,” “Do Me a Flavor,” and “Prints Charming.”

Last night was a good night. I went to my first Society of Design event featuring Design Army. One word … inspiring. Not just the speaker but the whole idea of SOD sounds great and I will be joining very soon. I can’t wait to be a part of what they are working on, it sounds very promising. Most organizations just talk the talk, but they are walking the walk in Central, PA.
