Because we all like to receive good ol&#8217; mail. So all you have to do is send them a self-addressed stamped envelope (decorated in some way) and they’ll fill it with goodies. I&#8217;m already planning mine out, oh, and you only have until September 1 and you have to get creative with your envelope! Read the details. &#8220;Regardless of your artistic ability, we ask that your envelope addressed to us be creatively designed or illustrated. Sockeye Creative is a creative company stationed in Portland, Oregon and their breadth of work is broad and wide. I particularly like their Identity work and can&#8217;t help but like the Print section too. And the posters for the Portland Opera &#8230; wow! They just tickle my fancy in the right kine of non-perverted sort of way.]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[Nothing is made mostly of cardboard. What is Nothing? It&#8217;s a newly formed cretaive agency in Amsterdam that had their studio structure made from cardboard. The space was created by the designers Alrik Koudenburg and Joost van Bleiswijk who created walls, signage, beams, tables, shelving and even a set of stairs out of cardboard. Right now the structures are fairly plain except for the illustration work of Fiodor Sumkin. This was encouraged by the folks at Nothing as they want the space to be interactive, and after it&#8217;s all filled they can easily and inexpensively replace if needed.]]></description>

This week, it&#8217;s initial drawings that were created for a logo project. The project? An Alaskan maritime center start-up needed a logo with the intent of being a catchall of commercial fishing archives and information on commercial fisheries in Prince William Sound, Alaska. The input? Rugged, rustic commercial fishing, possible inclusion of fishermen, vessels, fish, nets, anchors, etc. The center is to preserve historical commercial fishing information, so the logo was to encompass those initiatives.
