A new search engine called Compfight has been developed that uses the Flickr API to discover photos/photographers. Created by Ryan Teuscher. And it’s the seekers responsibility to make sure that they have the rights to use the selected image, be responsible.

Where does inspiration come from? Anywhere, from anything, or by anyone. I received an email from Esprit this morning and these shirts made me think, what a great color palette these would make for stationery. And Whoo-la, here they are! And unfortunately I can’t directly link to these shirts due to the way their site is setup (bad thing!)

I am obssessed with Snap & Tumble’s Flickr Collection called Journaling. I think I’m going to start a random journal with just anything I want to put into it. Sounds good, right?

I adore this look as seen last night while watching the Oscars, in the film An Education. Would this look completely silly on a 30-year old such as myself? I think I could swing it.

Strange title, I know. But being married to a man who loves and dreams in Volkswagen parts makes you appreciate the machines as fine as they are. I imagine these are the sorts of things that are stored in my husband’s mind and what he dreams about. So it made me laugh and think of him. I love, LOVE card catalogs (as you may know). Something about all those little drawers tempting me to open each and every one of them … even though I know they all contain just cards. But what if they could contain more then that? Well, a kind fellow contacted me because he has quite a few of these lovelies in his possession from the Yale Art and Architecture Library and they are for sale! Let me know if you’re interested and I’ll pass the information on to you. They all cost over $1000 (most are under $1500), and the second from the bottom is $775. I hope they go to good homes!

The work and site design of Jez Burrows caught my eye while looking through some site galleries today. He has a lovely infographic style and the graphics and color combination’s are just rousing. Jez is 23, originally from South Devon but now resides in Scotland. I’m envious.
