Jeff Bridges
Jeff Bridges is everywhere. Not just because his upcoming films Tron and True Grit are highly anticipated, but because of his artistic abilities. JeffBridges.com features artwork completely hand drawn … by him. It’s really impressive and completely unexpected for an actor. I mean, where does he find the time to draw? And in addition to that, Esquire allowed him to bless the cover of their UK edition with his hand-drawn typography and replaced the logo with his handy-work. Unbelievable, right?! It looks amazing! +
Florist Cabinet
…or as I would have liked to call it, the most amazing piece of furniture EVER!!!! I spotted this Antique Victorian Cabinet, sign painted for use as a florist’s sundries cabinet. I am in LOVE! But of course, it’s sold – as it should be. The Ingermills cabinet is dated from the 1880′s and is marked as being on Floral Street in London! I would fill this cabinet from top to bottom with all of my stationery and supplies, it would be oh-so perfect. Now what piece of furniture can I adorn with my hand-lettering? Don’t tell my husband.
Le Buro
Some brilliant new work by Inventaire was recently featured on Behance’s Typography Served for Le Buro. That logo is swoon-worthy.
Featured Font – Despeinada
I haven’t posted any Featured Fonts lately, so I thought – it’s time to put one up! Despeinada is a font family is described as a loose script for when you want to convey informality. The font was designed by Ricardo Rousselot while at the University of Barcelona Master of Typography.
Adam Romuald

Scott Albrecht
Public School recently interviewed Scott Albrecht, an artist and designer now hailing from Brooklyn. His education was here in Philadelphia, but his work now has expanded to galleries throughout the country. I love that daydreaming cloud, I just want to give it a hug.
Beep! Beep!
While it’s not totally original, I love Tyler Fortney‘s poster design for AIGA Toledo using nonpareil sprinkles to create type. “To produce the poster, we screenprinted a combination of gloss varnish and bookbinding glue onto an 18″ x 24″ sheet. Immediately after removing it from underneath the screen, we poured the sprinkles onto the wet adhesive, instantly creating what we had envisioned.”
Erik Marinovich
I am loving all of the red & black work on the website of Friends of Type contributor, Erik Marinovich.
Yani Arabena
