McFancy
Amy Moss of Eat Drink Chic styled photos in a pitch for a McDonald’s pop-up shop. The idea was to makeover the fast food giant with a 5-star restaurant aesthetic which would appear during fashion week. I like the packaging ideas, perhaps almost a bit too simple. But they are quite lovely!
Stop Motion Save the Date!
Super super cute save the date for Surya & Nick, set to wed in July 2010. Save the date! 31 july 2010 from Kishi-Grover on Vimeo. Via Jonas Peterson (who will be shooting their wedding, he is amazing!)
Joshua Scott
Wow. I am so glad I saw the images of photographer, Joshua Scott featured recently on Feature Shoot. His images make me want to throw stuff around like confetti so that I can have the feel of his images.
Thread Prints
I love these prints of spools and thread on the Etsy shop of Jane Heller.
Damn Rabbit Studios
Thanks to a post on Design*Sponge this morning and some info from my sister, I discovered the work of Sarah Szwajkos also Damn Rabbit Studios. Her images focus on personal spaces, particularly of artists and creative types and each image is a source of inspiration.
Thorns
Feeling thorny today, not sure why but it makes for great images!!! From left to right, top to bottom: Jesus crown of thorns by Leonski, Frida Kahlo Ornament Set by missbutler, Lee Hale’s Rose Thorn Earrings, Crown No 1 on White by OrbisOrbis
ngoc minh ngo
I love the photographic eye of ngoc minh ngo. It’s no surprise that she’s worked for Martha Stewart Living and Real Simple. But this Vietnam-born, now New-Yorker has a beautiful portfolio featuring gorgeous interiors, food that will make your mouth water and her personal work that is just as captivating.
Constant Change
Constant Change. I have no clue what this site is about but it has some arresting images. Love them. More info here
Sean Murphy
I found him in my bookmarks but have never posted about him?! Sean Murphy has some really great images and here’s a sampling that I’d love to share with you. I love the image above. I can just imagine the conversation, the woman to the left saying “here boys, make yourselves useful”
Paradise Portraits
Controversial photographer Erwin Olaf has an outstanding portfolio which includes the portraits featured in this post in a series called Paradise Portraits. I love portraits for some reason, but these are just exceptional! There are so many more, so please go take a look at his website.
