Paper Porn
If you’re one of those people who loves to look at paper but not purchase it, this is the place for you. There is the Paper is Lovely tumblr site and the Lovely Paper Blog all by Dawn, a self-taught paper artist living in Texas. I originally found her thanks to @paperfinds on Twitter who linked to her Flickr feed, I nearly hyperventilated from exhilaration! 0
Mums the Word
I just received my Paper Source catalog in the mail and this Mums Wreath Kit caught my eye, but for another purpose. These flowers would be great to use in a wedding for groomsmen, combine them to make a bride’s bouquet, or other decorations. I know you folks are crafty and could make it happen. Aren’t they great?! The kits costs just $19.95 from Paper Source. Not your colors? Well you could always use the kit as a template and make your own flowers using your colors! 0
Love Paper
In an effort to bring the paper company closer to the design community, Fedrigoni UK opened doors to it’s London showroom in 2008. The posters were designed by Richard Nabarro to entice designer by emphasizing the creative possibilities of paper. In fact, this just gave me an idea. Fun! Via 0
Paper Surprise
My day went from okay to phenomenal thanks to a lovely arrival in the mail. Not one, but TWO surprises. The first is #6 of Uppercase Magazine arrived, I can’t wait to dive in. If you aren’t a subscriber, I highly recommend that you become one … now! But if you can’t swing it, Janine lets you flip through a digital version online. Second, a very unexpected package from SwaySpace thanking me for a lovely post on their Knot journal. You’re welcome and thank you for the package of goodies, I feel like a little kid today!!! 0
Vintage Maps
I decided to take a very imprompu trip to an antiques store today, and came across these maps for a second time. This time I had to get them. The smaller maps have a lovely black/aqua/orange color palette and the large one was printed in 1936 and is in fabulous condition. Most of them are of Canada but I also bought one of New York with a great illustrated map (upper right on the last photo), but I have no clue when it was printed. I’m not sure what I will exactly do with them yet, but I have a few inklings. 0

Kotryna Zukauskaite
This is the work of freelance illustrator and student Kotryna Zukauskaite showing her ironic view of infographics all in the form of paper objects. I’m obsessed with paper and infographics so if you combine the two, I’m ecstatic! via @uponafold 0
Jaq Belcher
Jaq Belcher is a real talent with paper. Just take a look at jaqbelcher.com and I’m sure you’ll agree. 0
Upon a Fold
I love paper, and this new site is inspiring to say the least! Upon a Fold is the child of Justine & Matt showcasing from finding or creating unique paper products. Whenever I come across a beautiful object made of paper I wish I had a place to put it on show for all to see and enjoy. So, ta-da, here it is… Upon a Fold. I mean, seriously. My heart skipped a beat when I saw all of these fun little items and the little girl in my head said “but I want to make and sell fun little paper things too!”. And I do make them, but I don’t sell them (yet.) and…
