The Undercover Collection
A monthly poster series where one canvas is by an anonymous painter, and the other canvas (of type) is created by Job Wouters. I found The Undercover Collection on the Letman site (which I’ve posted before), there has been a massive amount of updates with amazing work. Go now – I urge you.
Signpaintr
I’ve been thinking about trying something new, but I’ll just post this and maybe you can guess. See more amazing images like these here.
Ryan Feerer
I’m starting to think that Courtney and I are long lost souls (of design). Her posts at Design Work Life and Head vs. Heart hit me hard every time. Today, she posted about Ryan Feerer’s work for weddings and I was just blown away. Beautiful, hand drawn, great layouts.
Sketchbook Project 2011
Well my part of the Sketchbook Project 2011 has ended. I did as much as I could before shipping it off to the lovely folks at Art House and have to admit, I had fun! Here’s what came out of my little brain with a pencil and an arsenal of markers and pens: View all of the photos from my book on my Flickr page. All photos were taken with my iPhone, I didn’t want to focus on taking professional photos, so apologies for the quality.
26 Characters
Recently fell upon the blog of 26 Characters, the blog of painter and lettering artist Michiel van der Born. I’m really keen on his tattoo-inspired work.
Ivana Martinovic
Lovely work from Ivana Martinovic incorporating many handmade elements. Ivana is a senior designer for Landor in Sydney, Australia.
Luke Bott
I recently discovered Luke Bott‘s work thanks to FFFOUND! and really like this style of work. I found a few pieces that were along the same line. He has much more work on his site, but these three really caught my eye. via
Lydia Nichols
I really get way too excited when I stumble upon a designer/illustrator from my home state. Pennsylvania is the place to be, and Lydia Nichols‘ work is just fantastic. Originally from Pennsylvania, Lydia now lives in New York but continues to infuse her work with inspiration from her home state. I especially love the Pennsylvania Wedding invitation she created, at bottom.
Jamie Brown
Some really fun illustration work by Jamie Brown. Jamie currently lives and works out of London and works on projects from identities up to large scale murals.
