This weekend was amazing! Time was well spent with friends, family, and most importantly with my husband and son. While most of you were eating barbecue, downing lots of drinks (alcoholic or not) just to stay cool in the high-90 degree temps, I was thinking of these amazing flags on a time to get. I’ve lived in this home for three years and realized, I have NO flag to hang outside. So I was thinking of making my very own, and I wondered how people (especially dedicated patriots) would feel if I used a slightly different star pattern. They are so pretty! Would you find it offensive or confusing?!

I love all the simple products by Pony Rider. In the description of the company and products they use great line “using the ‘good’ linen for the everyday.” LOVE it!

I have no clue who is behind the design and branding for Aubin and Wills but I love the mostly typographic look for their branding efforts and homewares! If anyone knows the agency/studio responsible for their treatments, or if it’s an in-house effort – please let me know!

So Many Dynamos Hand Screened Show Poster by The Bungaloo $20

I have a real affinity for the nautical, and have been thinking of what to do with a (very) blank wall in my home office. I’m thinking of covering it in nautical paper goods and vintage nautical items. Sounds like a good idea. The lord is my shepherd, I SHALL want!!!! I want (really want) a full collection of furniture from The Hansen Family. And not only do they have amazing furniture, they have a stylish blog (or boardbook) too.

The Hansen Family was created by Gesa Hansen who grew up in a Scandinavian family of carpenters, designers, and architects. Thanks to their influense she combined them all into creating beautifully handcrafted furniture.

I like these sweet floral Chelsea Wallpaper designs available through Farrow & Ball. I wish I could get over the feeling of wallpaper as a sin.

I love, LOVE card catalogs (as you may know). Something about all those little drawers tempting me to open each and every one of them … even though I know they all contain just cards. But what if they could contain more then that? Well, a kind fellow contacted me because he has quite a few of these lovelies in his possession from the Yale Art and Architecture Library and they are for sale! Let me know if you’re interested and I’ll pass the information on to you. They all cost over $1000 (most are under $1500), and the second from the bottom is $775. I hope they go to good homes!
