Ticketbook

I am obsessed with how numbers look in all sorts of typefaces. And I think Ticketbook is the perfect typeface for numbers, posters, tickets, etc. The type was created by Finland’s Tomi Haaparanta, the MyFonts Creative Characters feature in February (as seen in their newsletter), and he says “Univers and Helvetica Compressed are most often used for movie posters, but they lack variants. Therefore I made a compressed family with seven weights for more versatility.” Well done Tomi, well done.
