Tattoo Announcements

Last year I created tattoo-themed engagement announcements for a unique couple using their personal tattoos. I went through a few rounds of drawings until I got it just right but wasn’t sure what to do with them after the project was complete. Throw them away? No way. So what a better way to put them to use than to post them here on my blog? I like sharing my process more and more, so here’s some eye candy for you folks who appreciate the process.

My son was having fun working with me, so he colored the one above at the right. Not too bad.

The cards shown above are what was printed. I’ll try to post some photos of the actual printed pieces when I get some decent light coming into the house. They gray skies that we’re receiving these days are not the best conditions for photography.
