Ketchup n Mustard

The work of Jaime Van Wart (under the name Ketchup n Mustard) is mind-blowing, and she’s not a designer by profession – she’s a programmer for IBM’s Lotus software group. All right, calm down! She studied at the University of Pennsylvania as a fine art major, only to continue at the College of Design at North Carolina State University. Her work has (as she notes) yet to be noticed:

In her spare time she puts her OCD to good use by obsessing over typography and designing original typefaces and custom lettering that will certainly be published at some undetermined point in the hopefully not-too-distant future.

Are you kidding me?! Her work is fantastic and if somebody doesn’t add her to their design team, then they are crazy!!! If I had the amount of work that could support her, I would hire her IMMEDIATELY! Wow Jaime, keep up the great work! And if you’re still looking for a job, let me know. Maybe we can work something out! I could compensate you with notebooks, pens, and markers?! And maybe some money from time to time.
