Tattoo Invitations
Some time ago I had the idea of creating a tattoo-themed invitation inspired by the Sailor Jerry tattoos and thankfully a bride came along who wanted just that! Jamie and William wanted something different. From the bride “It’s SO hard to find invitations that aren’t completely normal and fit our theme.”
So after sending some examples from previous drawings (shown above) I immediately went to the drawing board and began with sketches from references that I sought out online. Once I had them to where I like them, I sent it over and she was excited!
From there I had to make the design work with her colors –bright pink, orange, and brown– a very nice choice but not your typical colors for tattoos. It turned out great!!!
And finally the finished invites above! The colors and the drawings look fantastic and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome. Custom design is the way to go for weddings and it’s sometimes sad that women don’t know all of their options out there. But when they do, it’s a great result.

I LOVE these invites.. I’m doing a tattoo/vintage/rock-a-billy themed baby shower and I can’t find anything for the invites! How much do you charge for a hundred with envelopes?
