Vintage Circus Posters

So how on earth do you suppose on stumbles upon something such as these? Flickr? Google? Nope. I was listing some vintage circus tickets on my Etsy store and looked up a bit of history on the Circus Hall of Fame. A link on their page lead me to find the Circus in America site where these lovely poster images reside.

If only events were promoted with such exaggeration today. A beautiful poster collection indeed. If they only had the playbills and hand lettered posters online!
