Score!

My husband was out and about yesterday and stopped at a nearby Antiques Barn to pick up this ‘cabinet’ (if that’s what you call it) for me! I’ve wanted it for weeks but every time I would stop they weren’t open. Well he’s just nice as peaches to have picked it up for me. YAY!

Don’t mind the messy garage in the background! The ‘cabinet’ has finger-pulls for the drawers and craftsmanship all over. The only thing I have to figure out is how to mount it so it not only looks good but so it holds some weight, shelf and cabinet combo … awesome!

To paint or not to paint, I’m thinking either white, yellow or a seafoam. Maybe all three?!? I could stain the shell and then paint the drawers my favorite colors, kind of like the Finn Juhl furniture. See the photo below for reference.
