Nothing is better than when food and art come together. This time it is to benefit hunger in The LunchBox Auction being held at the Milk Gallery on Dec. 11 from 8 – Midnight. The auction will feature lunchboxes designed by top celebrities from the likes of Cameron Diaz, the Beastie Boys and the box below from Urban Outfitters.

Join celebrity chef Mario Batali and Michael Stipe as they host an auction of custom lunchboxes designed by today’s hottest personalities, including Beastie Boys, David Chang, Tom Colicchio, Cameron Diaz, the cast of Gossip Girl, Eva Mendes, Mike Myers, Ellen Page, Liv Tyler, and many others—plus, Gourmet’s Ruth Reichl and Sara Moulton. You can preview a few of the bags on the website and don’t forget to bid on Dec. 11 to help fight hunger. Tickets to the event are $135 and will provide food to low-income families in New York and schoolchildren in South Africa.
