First-Round Fridays
I’ve decided to travel back a bit and dig up some old comps, sketches or whatever I might be able to find lying around. This week, it’s initial drawings that were created for a logo project. The project? An Alaskan maritime center start-up needed a logo with the intent of being a catchall of commercial fishing archives and information on commercial fisheries in Prince William Sound, Alaska.
The input? Rugged, rustic commercial fishing, possible inclusion of fishermen, vessels, fish, nets, anchors, etc. The center is to preserve historical commercial fishing information, so the logo was to encompass those initiatives.
I really loved creating these and am still sad that they weren’t developen any further. The client just dropped off the face of the earth. Bummer.
