I stumbled upon a site last night called Meet Your Printmaker that is a directory of commercial and independent printers and printmakers from all over the world. The goal of the site is to become a resource for artists and designers looking to work with or locate unique printers.

Too often, especially in the design world, printers are uncredited and behind the scenes. We would like to bring them forward.

If you’re a printer, go on over and submit your link. I love this idea! So far, I’ve used Etsy when failing to find independent printers and I hope this site proves to be a success.
