No, not the bookmark that you add to your browser for safe keeping so that you can recollect it at a moment’s notice. But the real thing, the physical item that you use to mark a page in book that you are reading over a course of time. If you’re like me I tend to pick up an scrap of paper lying around to mark my place in the book (last night it was The Push Pin Graphic: A Quarter Century of Innovative Design and Illustration) that I am reading due to constant interruption or needing a break.

While browsing on Etsy this morning (which I have bookmarked in my browser), I stumbled upon the seller beaconbookmarks store which is filled with wooden bookmarks; some with graphics and some with nice typography.
