Who knew the best new tool of the future would be our fingers. With the help of the invention and implementation of the touch-screen, is this going to allow our hands to be the only tool we’ll ever need. A mouse? No need, I have my hand. Clicking? At a tap of my finger.

Currently in the UK, researchers are hard at work with the “interactive multi-touch desk” (as seen above) in an interactive classroom environment. The technology is based on a gaming engine called jMonkey.
