Where the Wild Things Are … Movie?!?

I am so excited, just a few days ago stills were released from Warner Brothers of the upcoming Where the Wild Things Are movie directed by Spike Jonze. I truly hope this movie will be for not only adults who know and love this story but also for children. I have a four-year old and would take him to see this movie in a heartbeat as long as I knew it was appropriate for him. I can not wait to see trailers for this, good luck Spike!!!

The creatures are a combination of practical puppets and CGI, the film features the giant puppets interacting with Max and the faces will be added on later with voices from the likes of Forest Whitaker and James Gandolfini according to firstshowing.net.

As a child I had a great imagination and this book is perfect for those who love to spend their days swimming through daydreams. I really look forward to this movie!
